November 9, 2024 commemorated the official book launch of Woman of Worth, Your Life Experiences Do Not Define You. Publisher Ella Coleman, as well as family, friends, and members of the community joined me, as a first-time author, in celebrating this memorable event. Kai's Sugar Shack, a woman-owned, minority-owned, black-owned business that offers sweet treats, located in the Gender Road Towne Center, provided a fun and casual setting. Owners Kimberly Bridges and Doc West were the event hosts. The afternoon concluded with a toast and book signing. Attendees were treated to a Synopsis of the book, as well as to the readings of several excerpts. Also, they were able to participate in a brief Q&A and offer remarks.
